Our Story

Ultimate Access was created with a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors.

The inspiration began while hiking in Alaska with my father, who became a quadriplegic more than 20 years ago. Despite his injury, his love for adventure and the outdoors never disappeared. Over the years, our family discovered specialized adaptive equipment and all-terrain wheelchairs that opened doors we once thought were closed—allowing him to navigate everything from rugged trails to grass, gravel, sand, and other challenging terrain.

Seeing the freedom these chairs provided also revealed a significant barrier: this specialized equipment can be expensive and difficult for many individuals and families to access.

That realization became the foundation for Ultimate Access.

Our mission is to make adaptive outdoor mobility equipment accessible and affordable for people with disabilities through rentals and community partnerships. By providing a variety of mobility options, we hope to remove barriers, improve quality of life, and give more individuals the opportunity to explore, adventure, and experience the outdoors alongside the people they love.
